FESA - Fire and Emergency Services Authority of Western Australia

Teachers and Schools

The Education and Heritage branch develop education programs and resources about fire and natural hazards for school-aged children in Western Australia (WA).

All programs are linked to the WA Curriculum Framework and emerging Australian Curriculum. Primarily, our programs and resources focus on hazard awareness and safety messages with strong links to Science, Geography and/or History curriculums including Society and Environment

We offer excursions for Primary School and Year 11 students and develop resources for emergency services to provide school excursions for Year 3 students. Education and Heritage also supports FESA’s Community Safety branch in the development, delivery and evaluation of programs and resources for regional schools.

Classroom resources can be found on this website. These resources are added to and updated regularly.
