The Fire and Emergency Services Authority (FESA) provides emergency services for a range of natural disasters and emergencies throughout Western Australia (WA) to protect lives and property.
Fleets of fit for purpose, reliable and specialised equipment, appliances, marine rescue vessels, rotary wing and fixed-wing aircraft are all vital resources that enhance FESA’s capability to respond to emergencies on land, sea and air.
Throughout WA’s volatile bushfire season FESA may call on local government and the Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC) to request deployment of additional resources.
FESA often calls on DEC’s fixed-wing water bombers during significant bushfire incidents to help strengthen its aircraft fleet.
